 WWW: I’m so pleased with the brilliant start you’ve made to GCSE Media – well done! Your opening questions are answered honestly and accurately, your fruit bowl is absolutely stunning and it’s so good to have a fully up-to-date blog from the very beginning of the course. Keep up the good work! 

EBI: One thing to keep an eye on is your written English e.g. capital letters, sentence structure, grammar etc. It’s vital that this is accurate across all your subjects at GCSE level. Secondly, over the next two years we need to increase the depth and detail of your media analysis. This means discussing the different possible connotations on media products and how certain messages are being communicated to the audience. 

LR: Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.

Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

  n Denotation :   The advert is saying that they need toilets and not graves.
